228,000 member AMA joins the AllTrials campaign!

Publishing  – Email Communications from AllTrials

Dear friend of AllTrials

We are delighted to share two big announcements:

1. Yesterday, the American Medical Association (AMA) joined the AllTrials campaign. The AMA is the largest association of medical doctors and students in the United States, representing more than 228,000 current healthcare providers. Read the AMA’s statement in full.

Alongside the AMA, we are delighted to welcome the National Breast Cancer Coalition to the AllTrials campaign. Both organisations join the list of almost 650 patient groups, professional and learned societies, research centres and others who support the campaign.

2. The US version of the AllTrials video is now live! Thanks to your support, we were able to make this hugely important video to help US supporters spread the word, and encourage people to become campaigners themselves. Two patient advocates, AnneMarie Ciccarella and Gregg Gonsalves, explain exactly why the campaign for clinical trial transparency matters. Watch the video to hear their stories, and please share it with your friends, colleagues and networks in the US.*

Congratulations to our team in the US who made all of this happen. And a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the campaign in so many ways. Without you, none of this would be possible.

Best wishes
* If you’re not in the US and you want to share the original AllTrials video, you can find it here.
Campaign resources in other languages will be announced very soon – watch this space!
